Mr. Eduardo Elsztain is chairman of IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones S.A., one of Argentina’s largest and most diversified real estate companies; and IRSA Commercial Properties, with 15 shopping centers in Argentina, premium office buildings, five-star hotels and residential developments; with investments also extended into the US real estate market.
Mr. Elsztain serves as the Chairman of Cresud and BrasilAgro, leading Latin American agricultural companies that own directly and indirectly almost 1M ha of farmland. Moreover, he is also Chairman of Banco Hipotecario, one of the most traditional and solid institutions in the Argentine financial system; and Chairman of Austral Gold Limited, an Australian-based exploration company which has started producing gold and silver at the mines it holds in Chile and Argentina. He serves as Chairman of IDB Development; Discount Investment Corporation Ltd.; Property & Building Corp. and Elron Electronic Industries; and has direct and indirect interest in Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings; Shufersal; Cellcom; among others. Mr. Elsztain is also member of the World Economic Forum, the Council of the Americas, the Group of 50 and Argentina’s Business Association (AEA). He is President of Fundacion IRSA, which promotes education among children and young people; President of TAGLIT – Birthright Argentina; Co-Founder of Endeavor Argentina; and Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress.
Mr. Gil Kotler is since January 2016 serves as DIC CFO and form April 2016 as IDBD CFO as well. From October 2012 till January 2016 Mr. Kotler served as an EVP and Chief Financial Officer in Gazit Globe Ltd. Between 2009 and 2012, worked for Gazit Group USA as a Chief Strategy Officer, and from 1998 to 2010 as a Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kotler holds a B.A. dual degree in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University., he is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member in the Israel Auditor’s Council and a GMP 11- Harvard Business School.
